.: My Little Sister's Bridal Shower

She's getting married!!!!!! We gathered to celebrate this marvelous occassion at Le Cafe de Paris. It was a perfect setting for a perfect morning. It was a little cold and wet outside, we had warm quiche, mimosa's and coffee and wonderful company. Katie has talked so often about those who have influenced her, loved her and helped her get through the toughest year of her life. I fianlly got to meet them all. I loved it! They all said that Katie is the most wonderful human being, the most kind, generous, humble spirit and soul. All of which are absolutely true. We spent the morning laughing, catching up and getting to know one another better. This....this is what life is all about to me. Loving others, investing time in other people's stories, sharing our passions and experiences and gaining priceless wisdom. Today was one of those days. Mom had gotten to the restraunt early and set up the tables with fresh flowers. The smell of fresh parisian pastries, coffee and quiche could make one salivate. Thank you mom for the moring and thank you Kates for letting us help you celebrate - I can't believe it - the soon to be Kathryn Collins Newton. Oh yeah, by the way, doesn't she look amazingly beautiful?
